Born and raised in central Texas, the artist has been fine-tuning her craft since she was a child, and credits her family as the driving force behind her desire to express herself creatively. Through the work of her uncle, Kenneth Havis, Lisa was exposed to an abundance of multi-media art as a young girl. What began as a fascination, grew into an irrepressible urge to create.
Now a graduate of Paier College of Art in Connecticut, and a thriving member of local art associations, Lisa has established Sivah Studio as her own. Her paintings range from the boldest of abstracts to the mind-blowing details of trompe l'oeil painting - not only a feast for the eye, but the intellect as well.
